Hands-On School Tours

Bring your students to Argyle Acres for an immersive, hands-on tour of our regenerative farm in the heart of Ogden Valley. Each visit is a seasonal, age-appropriate experience that connects kids to soil, animals, food systems, and the rhythms of nature.

What Students Will Do

  • Meet pasture-raised cows, pigs, chickens, and lambs
  • Plant seeds, harvest vegetables, or collect eggs
  • Learn how grazing animals and compost build healthy soil
  • Discover the role of pollinators and native plants
  • Explore seasonal cycles and how farms adapt with each solstice and equinox
  • Reflect on the connection between land, food, and community

Tour Details

  • Duration: 1 to 2 hours
  • Group Size: Up to 30 students per tour
  • Grade Levels: K–6 (curriculum tailored by age group)
  • Chaperones: 1 adult per 10 students required
  • Cost: $5–$10 per student (discounts available for Title I schools)
  • Seasonal Availability: Spring, Summer, and Fall
  • Weather: Tours run rain or shine—please dress accordingly
